Week 1: Pandemic- I was to create an artwork that reflected the Covid-19 pandemic in some way. I drew a plague doctor with a chart in the background using sharpies and paint.

Week 2: Personal Choice- This week I had decided to draw Frankenstein's monster and his bride. I sketched the drawings using a pencil and then went over them with a ballpoint pen to add tonal values. I used alcohol markers for the background.

Week 3: Personal Choice- On week three we were encouraged to use more materials than in the previous two entries. I created this scene using paint for the background and tonal values on the skull. The foreground was made with alcohol markers, and the figures in the background were drawn with sharpie.

Week 4: Poem- For this week we were required to create a poem utilizing words we found on the page, and then on the following page, make a drawing to represent that poem

Week 5: Autumn- This week, I used acrylic paint, leaves, gel pens, sharpie, and alcohol markers. I started by gathering a few leaves outside and then painting them black, using them as a stamp. After this, I colored the leaf impressions with alcohol markers and made the landscape with gel pens and markers.

Week 6: Surrealism- This week we were to make a surrealistic composition utilizing various different features. The outlining is done with a black sharpie. The shading and color are done with colored pencils and a ballpoint pen. The ground is black sharpie. The sky is watered down acrylic paint.

Week 7: Personal Choice- This was around Halloween time so I decided to make my entry based on that. I used collage for the quotes on the left page, sharpie for a dark black color. The coloring on the right side is gel pen and alcohol marker, and for the mid-tones and some shading, I used a ballpoint pen.

Week 8: Mind/Body- This entry represented the mind and body visually. On the left half of this submission I tried to represent how people portray their positive self to the world, and on the right, the more dark, and negative side of people. To create this image I used a ballpoint pen and markers.

Week 9: Personal Choice- For this entry, I was inspired by a big rainstorm we had and made one-half sunny and the other rainy. This entry was created using sharpie and alcohol marker.

Week 10: Self Portrait- This week we were required to make one continuous line drawing of ourselves and one normal drawing of ourselves. I decided to make one where I was young (left) and one from now (right).

Week 11: Personal Choice- This week, I wanted to portray a scene from the book "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens. I used sharpie for the stippling and outlining of Scrooge. Marley's ghost is outlined with a blue marker. I colored the image using colored pencils and sharpies. The background is acrylic paint.

Week 12: Personal Choice- This was the final entry I made in my book, and I decided to make a scene with Santa Claus and Krampus. The outlining and shading were done with sharpie. I colored the figures and background using sharpie and alcohol markers. The highlights on the horns and the snow were done with a white gel pen.
